Sewer Shield® Submerge Test
The top photo shows Sewer Shield® after being submerged in 98% sulfuric acid since
October of 1997 in a lab. The red shows the acid attack on the surface – deterioration
of ½ mil. Using a milling machine to remove the red, we found the material free from
migration. The total loss from acid attack on the material was ½ mil. The date of the
testing went from October of 1997 through November of 1999, a total time of 2 years and 1 month.
The other two photos are enlargements and enhancements of the first photo.
